The power feeder: safety and efficiency

Maximum safety and regularity in the advance of the wood for a much better quality finish! The feeder can be used just as well in routing with the router for short pieces as with the jointer for series pieces of wood or for narrow pieces of wood. The Feeder presses the wood on the table and completely prevents the wood from being thrown back even in the event of a knot in contact with the tools, total safety at work! The feeder is fixed either directly on the table of the wood combination or the router or can be installed on a fixing plate and therefore becomes removable.

You must choose your feeder according to the size of your machine of course! Indeed, if the woodworking machine has a small table or small surface, the feeder must have a short arm. The larger the machine, the more the feeder must be adapted with the possibility of extending the arm to adjust the feed rollers that will flatten the wood. This machine can be fixed on the machine and dismantled as desired or can be mounted on a fixing plate which will avoid drilling the table to install it. Tilting fixing plates are also available, the feeder is simply tilted to the side when not in use and straightened in one movement if necessary!

For the professional, the feeder is mandatory when using router tools with manual feed, i.e. not equipped with counter-blades to prevent kickback in the event of a knot, for example. Do not lose sight of the fact that when working with small pieces of wood, whether with a router, circular saw or jointer, it is highly recommended to opt for a mechanical feed rather than taking risks with your hands!
