Important information when changing belts on an old machine:

• It is very common on older machines that the belts age at the same time as the pulleys, the pulleys take up play and the belts deform in function.
• When changing the belt after many years, installing a new one on a pulley with play means that by turning, the pulley automatically drives the belt to one side or the other, generating a very premature fraying of the belt and therefore its breakage.
• The only option to solve such a malfunction is to eliminate the play of your pulleys.
