The Holzmann HOB260ABS jointer-planer is a robust machine with built-in suction system ideal for those who do not have a vacuum cleaner yet. However, the suction function is more efficient in planing mode, planing mode according to the pass, the larger chips may not be easily removed and the bag quickly filled!
Dedicated to the handyman and amateur anxious to afford a good material for a small budget, it is equipped with resharpable irons, much more effective than other machines in this category equipped with thin irons disposable. Since the irons are regrindable, it is possible to equip this jointer of carbide irons, the recommended quality for hardwood and abrasive because largely more effective.
Holzmann specifies that this type of machine is intended for amateur use, the machining of the planing tables can therefore have variations in flatness of 0.3 to 0.5 tenths of a mm without this having any influence on the work, but we estimate that it is important to specify this and that is also why this machine is at a special price. Only machines with cast iron tables are perfectly flat.
